Coyote is a simple bluffing game based on the lore of Native American tribes from the pacific northwest of the continent. With stunning artwork and simple yet engaging gameplay, this game is a great start to any game night.
In a game of coyote, there is a numbered card in front of each player and one additional card hidden in the center. Players can see the value of the cards in front of all other players, but not the card in front of themselves or in the center. However, special peek cards can be used to look at the hidden card in the middle. With this limited information, players must bid a number that they believe is less than the sum of all the cards in play. Players must continually bid higher than the last bid until someone challenges a bid, claiming that it is higher than the sum of cards in play. The loser of that challenge loses one of their three lives, and if a player loses all lives they are out of the game. Last player standing wins!
