Monstrosities are entering the land through the gates of delirium. Can you channel the chaos for your benefit?
Each round is either a sane or insane round - the starting player determines which it will be. If it is a sane round, you can only play sane actions: collect lost pages, collect map fragments, or send out investigators. If it is an insane round, you can only play insane actions: swap opponent's investigators with your own, collect ancient ruins, or construct a gate to let monstrosities through! Each of these actions has the potential to earn you points, and there are other twists throughout the game that will help or hurt you depending on how you are playing. The game ends when the final monstrosity is released, and the player with the most points wins.
