Meet Spinney—the delightfully weird, wide-eyed offspring of the original Critter, and possibly the most chaotic wind-up toy to ever waddle across your desk. Created in the mysterious depths of a turn-of-the-century Arts and Crafts house (because of course it was), Spinney is all key, booties, and bounce.
With short, stubby legs and a little extra junk in the trunk, Spinney doesn’t walk so much as joyfully flail its way through life. It moves like a kid on a sugar high—zipping, spinning, and generally ignoring all adult supervision. Compared to its slightly more mature parent, Critter, Spinney is like the feral toddler version: shorter legs, bigger attitude.
Wind it up, let it loose, and prepare for uncontrollable giggles and/or existential questions like, “Why does this bring me so much joy?”
Warning: May cause coworkers to ask, “Where did you even find that?”
