The Blood of an Englishman

Jack faces of aginst the Giant in this asymmetrical, 2 player game! One player plays Jack, the other plays the Giant, and each player will have their own set of rules. Figuring out how to play your character well while also trying to keep track of the other character's strengths make for a super interesting and fun puzzle. You can even switch roles to see how the other character plays!

Jack wins by collectin three treasures: gold, the goose, and the harp. They get these treasures by pulling cards from the playing field to build up beanstalks. Once the beanstalks are big enough, they can take a treasure. They need to build 3 beanstalks to get all three treasures. Jack can also manipulate the playing field to hamper the Giant's play or help his own future plans.

The giant wins by assembling the fee, fi, fo, and fum cards, or by making it impossible for Jack to finish his beanstalks. The giant can remove beanstalk cards from the game and can manipulate the playing field in different ways than Jack. However, the Giant gets one less action per turn than Jack does.
